I have provided storytelling at a wide and diverse range of places such as:

  • Cambridge Folk Festival by special invitation. Four days of Storytelling.
  • East Anglian Children’s Hospice, (EACH) summer festival, all day storytelling.
  • HMP Family Visitor Centre waiting room, Storytelling.
  • ‘Larmer Tree Festival’ Wiltshire. A one hour performance to about 100 people around a camp fire.
  • ‘Folk by the Oak’ festival, Hertfordshire. Telling folk and fairy tales all day.
  • ‘Village Green Festival 2019’, Southend, all day telling Oral Stories, as part of a collective of Performance Storytellers, Spoken Word Artists and Musicians.
  • ‘Global Generation’ an Ecology charity, asked back for a 4th time to ‘The Skip Garden’, St Pancras, London. To tell stories that speak to ecological issues.
  • ‘The Fling Festival’ 2019, Chelmsford Essex.
  • Anke’s Café, Southend. An afternoon of family storytelling, as part of the Spinning Yarns Collective

  • The East Anglian Storytelling Festival, my 4th year, all weekend telling and listening to stories.

  • Supprt4Sight a Charity event back for a 4th time storytelling for people who are blind, in Essex.
  • Bighat Bushcamp, Sussex, a boys 10 year old birthday party Storytelling in a Wood.
  • Beltane Fire Festival, Kent. Asked back again, 3 days of storytelling and co-hosting the storytelling Yurt
  • Holly Trees Primary School Brentwood. Asked back again for some all day storytelling performances and running some storytelling workshops for the children, to understand the structure of stories on a deeper level.
  • Donate4Refugees, at The Thenga Café in Kings Cross, London. I was invited back for a 2nd time to be part of a company of storytellers, telling ‘World Tales’
  • Invited Storytelling Guest for ‘Woodlife Trails’ a bush craft company working out of Hatfield Forest, a National Trust forest. We sat in the evenings around a camp fire as I told stories.
  • Invited Special Guest storyteller, telling a set of countryside folk tales at ‘Othersyde’ Cambridge, a Storytelling, Spoken Word and Singing venue.
  • Chelmsford ‘Ignite’, attended a Storytelling Symposium.
  • Leeds Literature Festival; ‘Leeds Storytelling Takeover’. A weekend dedicated to Oral Storytelling.
  • World Book Day, telling Oral stories to school children, in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes, at John Ray Infants School, Braintree, Essex.
  • Essex Book Festival, telling Oral Pirate Tales and Sea stories on-board, the ex-Pirate Radio Caroline ship, docked in Harwich.
  • London Dreamtime Story Circle. Telling a Moon story on a full ‘Snow Moon’, evening.

  • Storytelling Workshop, delivering an all day workshop working with students at ‘Jump Start’ in Bury St Edmunds. In conjunction with ‘Suffolk Art Link’ a project working with adults who have a learning difficulty or disability. The project will culminate in the students eventually producing their own stories.
